Greek mythology is a group of stories that are about gods or magical beings of Greece. Some of the stories are of women who turn men to stone, Medusa, The strongest man, Hercules, and even Pegasus the flying horse!

Writing Challenge!

Write a story using mythological creatures or make up your own mythological creature.  Questions to ask yourself...
Who are my characters?
What is their challenge? What do they need to overcome?
Will they have a hard task to complete?
It there a moral to the story?
Does the story end happily or tragically?

Math:
Did you know the word "mathematics" hails from ancient Greece? It means the subject of instruction. Geometry got its start in Greece. Thales theorem states an angle inscribed in a semicircle is a right angle.

Exercise:
Javelin toss:  Get a dow rod and toss it across the yard.
Discus throw: Get a frisbee and toss it.

Healthy mind:
An affirmation is a message of positivity. Try this: Look in the mirror every day and say, "My possibilities are endless."
