Field Day Ideas

Since we are all stuck at home and the kids will not have the field day they typically would...
There are a few things you are going to need. You can start off with a trip to the dollar tree! You are going to need sponges, little water balls, anything water-related.  Get yourself some shaving cream and bubbles.  Oh, don't forget sidewalk chalk!

To make things more fun, acrylic paint or face paint for a carnival feel!

Since everyone is home, you have all the time in the world to accomplish your goals!

Mornings are typically cooler so things that aren't too wet to do, should happen then. Start with face painting and then draw a huge thank you on your driveway for all the people who have worked to make it all work.

If you have a small children's pool, you can fill it, get some rubber duckies, and number them.  If your child grabs a certain one, they win a prize!

Get 2-liter pop bottles and fill them with water.  Get a ball and try to knock it down.  You can use squirt guns to knock them down too!

You can get t-shirts at the dollar tree as well.  Use crayons, fabric paint, permanent markers, and create the most awesome end of the year shirt.

Take your sponges, cut it into strips, and rubber band or tie three strips in the middle and fluff it out just a little.  You can have a water fight with them or dip in paint and toss at paper or canvas.

Take your shaving cream and food color, mix together, and spread all over paper until it dries.

A really cool project is taking cornstarch and water and mixing it together.  It has a weird combination of solid and liquid.

Recipe:
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup water
5-7 drops of food color

Mix it all together and then play with it using your hands.
